How These Plans Are Measured
Every Anantara plan states its interior, terrace and total area, and every one carries the same note: the area is calculated with a load factor that adds a share of the adjacent hallway. The unit defined in the condominium declaration is smaller.
Room sizes are taken at the widest point of each room, as if it were a rectangle, so the usable area of a room is a little less than length times width. None of this is unusual. It only matters when you set an Anantara plan beside a building that measures differently.
Look at the terrace depth before the terrace area. The Resort Residence terraces run the length of the residence and are under 6 feet 4 inches deep: room to sit and take in the bay, not to set a table for six. The Private Residence plans released so far carry an 11-foot terrace.
